"Hustyn Gate" is a delightful 18th century white washed farmhouse, full of olde-world charm and character, set in two acres of landscaped gardens amidst rolling Cornish countryside and leafy country lanes and hedgerows abundant with colour during the spring and summer months.
Hustyn Gate is not your average holiday home, it is special...... David and Susan only let Hustyn Gate for a few weeks each summer, the rest of the time it is their home which reflects in the first class accommodation offered.
The farmhouse is situated on St Breock Downs, just three miles from Wadebridge, a delightful Cornish town situated by the River Camel. Polzeath which is around 6 miles is a real haven for both beach and wildlife lovers. The sand and shingle beach is backed by cliffs which provide both shelter on windy days and interesting little coves to relax in and simply watch the world go by. There is also a nature reserve on the beach and plenty of interesting rock pools to explore as well as being a good venue for spotting dolphins and puffins.

Padstow one of the prettiest towns in Cornwall is situated on the opposite side of the headland from Polzeath. This quaint fishing harbour town with its labyrinth of narrow windy streets made more famous by the chef Rick Stein, is a venue not to be missed and is equally fascinating and enchanting both during the day and evening. There are of course lots of wonderful restaurants here and being just a short drive from Hustyn Gate is the ideal choice for an evening out.....
Immediately to the north you will find Hustyn Wood, ideal for country walks and for those interested in wildlife the wood is home to numerous species of wildlife including red deer. Running past the farmhouse entrance is 'Saints Way' a footpath made famous by monks travelling from Ireland to the south coast ports, or alternatively, the famous Camel Trail an area of 'special conservation' that winds its way through some of Cornwalls most beautiful countryside, including mixed woodlands and the fascinating salt marshes around Padstow which are home to some very rare birdlife.
